What we do

Electronics for equipment that leaves the bench.

Vebix Automation designs and builds embedded electronic hardware for defence, naval and government applications: sensor front-ends, data-acquisition and monitoring hardware, control electronics, and the integration work that turns those into a system rather than a set of boards.

Work spans schematic and PCB design, component selection against availability and environmental rating, prototype assembly, bring-up and debugging, environmental and functional testing, and the drawings, test reports and compliance documentation a defence customer needs alongside the hardware itself.

How we work

Requirements first, documentation throughout.

Projects start by turning an operational need into a workable electrical and control-system plan — what has to be measured, to what accuracy, in what environment, and what the data has to do once captured. Getting that written down before design work starts is what prevents an expensive re-spin later.

Prototypes are built to be iterated. Packaging, connector selection, thermal behaviour and serviceability all tend to move between the first build and the one that goes into service, and we plan for that rather than treating the first article as final.

Testing and documentation run alongside development, not after it. For defence and PSU customers the test reports, inspection records and design documentation are part of the deliverable, and assembling them retrospectively is both slower and less credible.

What you get

Deliverables.

A typical engagement delivers the hardware itself, the design package behind it — schematics, PCB files, bill of materials with sourcing notes, and mechanical interface drawings — and the test evidence: procedure, results and inspection records against the agreed acceptance criteria.

Where the work replaces an imported assembly, the deliverable also includes whatever was established during reverse engineering: the measured specification, the material and component equivalence rationale, and the documentation needed to manufacture it again without repeating the investigation.

We work to the customer's documentation standard where one is specified. For DRDO, PSU and Navy programmes that usually means drawings, test schedules and compliance statements in the format the acceptance authority expects, prepared alongside the build rather than reconstructed at the end.
