Summary

Vebix Automation LLP is seeking an Electronics Technician for the bench work behind the hardware it ships: assembly and wiring of electronic products and control panels, through-hole and SMD soldering, cable harnesses, and functional testing to approved test procedures. The role is open to diploma holders who are fresh graduates or have up to one year of experience, and to ITI candidates with two to three years.

Description

Vebix Automation LLP is a Pune-based MSME and DPIIT-recognised startup working in defence, industrial automation, embedded electronics, underwater systems, drones, robotics, data-acquisition systems, cable assemblies and indigenous product development.

The technician assembles, wires and tests electronic products and control panels; solders and desolders through-hole and SMD components; assembles, inspects and tests PCBs and carries out basic fault diagnosis; and prepares and tests cables, connectors and wiring harnesses. Sensors, power supplies and communication modules are installed and integrated on the same bench, using multimeters, oscilloscopes, regulated power supplies and other test instruments.

The role supports engineers through prototype development and product integration, carries out functional testing to approved test procedures, and keeps the assembly, inspection, test and material-consumption records. It also supports field installation, maintenance, trials and customer demonstrations. ESD, electrical safety and workplace-quality procedures apply throughout.

Minimum qualifications

  • Diploma in Electronics, Electronics and Telecommunication, Electrical or a related discipline, as a fresher or with up to one year of experience, or an ITI in Electronics Mechanic or a related trade with two to three years of relevant experience.
  • Soldering, crimping, wiring and cable-termination skills.
  • Ability to read circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams and component datasheets.
  • Familiarity with sensors, relays, connectors, PCBs and electronic components.
  • Ability to work from drawings, instructions and quality procedures.
  • Willingness to travel to vendor and customer locations when required.

Preferred qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of microcontrollers and embedded electronic systems.
  • Cable assemblies, control panels or instrumentation systems.
  • Experience in defence, industrial automation, drones, robotics or underwater systems.

Preference will be given to candidates who can join at short notice.
